...are coming and one is called Luminosity, it has sparkles! It's like my Lublu yarn with a nice tight twist and the fiber content is: 75% Superwash Merino, 20 Nylon, and 5% Stellina (the sparkle!) I don't have any dyed at the moment, but I do have plans to do so. I have a few custom orders before I can get to it.
The other two new yarns I'm going to try out before I add them to my regular line up are a BFL sock yarn 75/25 Blue Faced Leicester/Nylon coming in at 460 yards and Sumptuosity Lace weight which is Baby Alpaca, Silk and Cashmere coming in at 1300 yards.
Just wanted to give you the heads up, I might be needing a few test knitters and I'll post for those in my Ravelry Group.

I took a break...
...from the fair isle sweater I'm making for my son and made him this much more needed hat. I participated in an Indie Dyers swap on Ravlery and got this Merino/Silk/Cashmere yarn in the mail, it was the perfect red to go with my sons coat, I did think twice about the yarn fiber and if a little boy was worthy of such luxury...but of course, I love knitting with it and it so perfectly matches his coat and how often do you really need to wash a hat anyway? I wash almost everything I knit by hand to extend its life, after all I spend countless hours making these things and want them to last as long as possible, perhaps so my grandchildren can wear them some day.
It was a pleasure to knit with this lovely yarn and color, the hat will fit him for many years, and I'm glad because I have a list of other things I want to make, with a few things for me included and never enough time as the list is always growing!
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We had a fun day with all of my family.
Remember the sale going on in my shop through Monday. You'll get 10% off with code: BLACKFRIDAY10 and it includes all of my yarn clubs, including the tea and yarn, worsted weight, no-pooling variegated and nearly solid clubs, which are already discounted! (Enter the code at checkout.) Enjoy! ~ Angela

What you see....
...is what you get. The December Holiday Special Edition Tea and Yarn club sold out quickly so I'm doing another one. It's the Holiday 2010 Tea and Yarn package. It is now listed in my shop and is available on 3 bases for you to choose from:
Nogi (Fingering)
90% Superwash Merino Wool, 10% Nylon
Opulence (Fingering)
80% Superwash Merino Wool, 10% Cashmere, 10% Nylon
Resplendence (Fingering) (Pictured below)
50% Merino Wool, 50% Silk
This is my all time favorite tea, it has a delightful, gentle and yet still flavorful taste and it pares well with any treats or is great alone. You will receive 2 ounces (about 25 cups) of the inspirational Gourmet Teavana tea used to design the colorway for your yarn. The tea is factory sealed for international buyers concerned with customs.

Long gone...
...is the November Tea and Yarn for non club members. I have good news though...
Since all of the Holiday Special Edition packages are gone as well, I am going to do another one for December and I'm thinking about Tea and Fiber for you spinners out there, too. I'll post when they are available!
The next round for the Tea and Yarn Club will be January, February and March, and they are still available for purchase in my shop.

PhatFiber...
...Season of Light box came today and it's wonderful! I love all the white fiber with a little bit of sparkle! They would go perfect with my new ivory puffer jacket! Hmmm...I have something planned for that already, though. But, who said I can't have 2 hats? I need mittens or gloves don't I? And of course a scarf right? One of my favorite samples was in the votive candle holder that you see in the middle of the photo. I'm off to knit while the kids sleep!

Oh no....
...it's the 17th! I was suppose to have the top 5 photos picked out and up to vote on by now! I'll get to it ASAP! The time has been flying by, trying to catch up on things since the festival and knitting or trying to knit my son's sweater, my first fair isle and it's 1 step forward 2 steps back. I keep going to something else, I'm not liking the process at all. I'm spinning this...
...75/25 Alpaca/Merino dyed by me, it's called earth and sky. I'm spinning it on my new spindle...
...that I got at the Fiber Festival. I like to get a little something at each festival, it's something to remember the event with in years to come. It brings back some great memories. I do this when I travel, or use to travel; I bought wine glasses, that was a lot of fun and makes for great conversation at the dinner table.
Anyway... about the spindle...it's from The Dragonfly Workshop. I broke my other favorite, but this was immediately a favorite for it's long, steady and balanced spin. I got to try it out at the festival, so that was a real bonus, and it was great to meet the person who made it and his family. I'm spinning finer and a more even yarn with it, too. It's all very exciting and now I like spinning even more, can you imagine that?

Let it snow...
...let it snow! As Papa was kissing us good bye early this morning before he left for work he said there was snow on the ground. YEAH! Out of the bed the kids popped racing to the window to see it and stayed there watching for more than an hour! (It's our first snowfall of the year.)
They couldn't wait to go outside and play in it and Katya couldn't wait to eat it. Last year that's all she wanted to do when outside, eat the snow!
David wasn't sure of it at first and wanted to stay on the sidewalk, but soon enough he was trapesing through the snow after Katya.

Oh, ya the pink boots, I haven't gotten his out of storage yet, so he's wearing Katya's.
The snow was perfect to make a snowman, and Katya picked out the rocks for his eyes, nose and mouth and I think he has a Merten (family) nose for sure! He has two arms on one side, too. Katya thought he need an extra one, since David was trying to pull out the other one :)
I'm not sure if Katya can see much, but she insisted she have it all on, hood all buttoned up and all!
