Just off...

...the needles today! I'm very excited about this hat, my design and I got it done in 24 hours! This hasn't happened since I was single and kid-less! I had a lovely day yesterday while my husband and kids were gone.  I watched 2 movies, ate when I wanted and didn't look at the clock. It was a very much needed and  refreshing day. It went way too fast. I spun the yarn a few months ago.

The fiber: BFL/Silk

The Yarn: 3 ply 138 yards Aaron/Bulky

The Hat:

I will be writing this pattern up for worsted weight soon. It was a fun and fast knit. I even ripped the bottom neck portion out a little bit and changed it a little. I still need to tweak it when I write it up and knit another one.
It will be warm and cozy keeping Katya's neck warm! No more scarves to deal with, I love it!

  1. I love seeing from fiber to handspun to hat. The colours are wonderful and so is the pattern. Great to keep our kids toady warm!

  2. Awesome hat! I know a toddler and child who need one of them.
