Nogi -- 90% Superwash Merino Wool and 10% Nylon

Description:
Nogi is a great sock yarn because of the nylon, it gives it strength and durability needed for socks. After all we walk on them; they need to be tough!

Nogi is Russian and is translated  "feet". I thought it was a good and unique name for this line since superwash merino with nylon is a standard sock yarn in fingering weight. My husband is Russian and we are also teaching, well he his teaching our children to speak Russian as well.

Nogi is a 2 ply 90% superwash merino and 10% Nylon (Plymouth yarn base) a very soft, springy sock/fingering weight yarn with a lovely twist. It has a nice sheen to it as well. One of my personal favorites for a strong, durable and long lasting pair of socks. It is super soft and wonderful to knit with, even better to wear!

Test Knitters Thoughts:
I love working with this yarn - it’s soft and sproingy and beautifully variegated so that almost every stitch is a new color, like satisfying little bursts of sweetness. (speaking of colorway lemon-lime sorbet) Thank you YVT!
